Loadout & Logistics Coordinator (Material Man)

About the role

The Loadout & Logistics Coordinator (Material Man) supervises logistics operations, including load-out, at the site in close collaboration with the Drilling Operations team and the onshore Logistics team. The role follows up on drilling and well operations materials, coordinates with contractors supplying goods and services, and ensures materials arrive as requested so that operations remain timely, budget-conscious and safe. The position is based in Paramaribo, Suriname, on a contract basis annually renewable, starting in December 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for coordination, verification, prioritization and traceability of drilling and completions equipment from contractor bases through the quayside to vessel loading.
• Ensure equipment released by QA/QC is correctly identified, prioritized, staged, documented, loaded onto the correct vessel and shipped to the intended offshore destination.
• Coordinate load-out activities at quayside and port facilities.
• Ensure full traceability from the Material Request Form (MRF) through equipment preparation, QA/QC release, CCU assignment, vessel loading and offshore delivery.
• Supervise logistics operations together with the drilling and logistics teams.
• Cross-check all materials against operational requests.

Required profile

• Extensive relevant oilfield experience in offshore, onshore and shore-base drilling, completion, materials and logistics.
• Demonstrated experience in shore-base logistics, rig logistics, loadout and shipment preparation, supply-vessel coordination and offshore material transfer.
• Experience coordinating service companies, contractors, port or customs interfaces and multidisciplinary drilling and logistics teams.
• Practical experience preparing, inspecting and certifying drilling, fluids, completion and workover equipment for offshore transfer.
• Ability to speak and write English; knowledge of Dutch and French is beneficial.
• Strong rigor, initiative, availability, communication and coordination skills in a multicultural operational environment.
• Ability to manage HSE performance, take part in safety meetings, risk assessments and incident or REX activities.

Required skills

• SAP proficiency for requests, orders, maintenance, stock and materials management.
• Stock management, material physical and administrative reception, inventory control and critical-material follow-up.
• Lifting operations, CCU management, marine logistics, pipe-yard activities and materials movement.
