Field Operator - Tubular Running Services

About the role

The Field Operator role at Weatherford involves hands‑on tasks using the company’s equipment, machinery and systems to support tubular running services. The position requires following technical manuals, procedures and work instructions to complete assignments safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain equipment, facilities and work areas in a safe, presentable condition and perform functional tests, inspections and monitoring.
• Execute maintenance processes such as unloading, disassembly, cleaning, pressure testing, visual checking, assembly, loading and storage of tools.
• Operate and rig up/down equipment, drive pick‑up trucks and other vehicles to well sites while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically with tubular running services.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) and basic computer and mathematics skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role and maintain a satisfactory driving record.

Required skills

• Equipment maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and monitoring.
• Use of measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Pressure testing and visual inspection of mechanical, electronic and hydraulic components.
• Operation of vehicles (pick‑ups, trucks, truck‑mounted units) to well sites.
