About the role

The Senior Buyer is responsible for procuring materials, equipment, and services needed for project and operations execution, ensuring contracts and deliveries align with timelines and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead procurement plans based on project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and issue purchase orders while ensuring compliance and cost control.
• Provide regular procurement status updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Mentor and monitor a team of buyers, supporting their activities as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of procurement experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement software.
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
