Night Shift SURF Company Representative

About the role

Airswift is seeking an experienced SURF Night Shift Company Representative for a major offshore oil & gas development project in Suriname. The role involves supervising night‑shift installation activities aboard construction vessels during the execution phase of a deep‑water project.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Company Representative on installation vessels during night shifts.
• Supervise SURF installation tasks such as rigid and flexible pipelay, riser installation, subsea structures, lifting, pre‑commissioning and testing.
• Ensure compliance with approved procedures, HSE requirements, SIMOPS/COMOPS protocols and Management of Change processes.
• Coordinate with offshore contractors, vessel management teams and onshore project stakeholders.
• Review operational reports, monitor schedule progress and participate in risk assessments and emergency response activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of oil & gas experience with significant exposure to SURF projects.
• Previous offshore supervisory or Company Representative experience on major EPCI projects.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) with strong communication, organisational and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Rigid and flexible pipelay operations.
• Riser installation (including Lazy Wave and Steel Hybrid Risers).
• Subsea structures installation.
• SIMOPS and offshore HSE requirements.
• Relevant certifications: BOSIET/T‑BOSIET/FOET, OPITO, OGUK Medical, Seaman's Book.
