Teamlead Network

About the role

Lead and supervise the maintenance, support and optimisation of network infrastructure at Newmont's Merian operation, ensuring reliable connectivity across LAN, WAN, Microwave and WiFi systems.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and support the maintenance of LAN, WAN, Microwave and WiFi networks to ensure reliable performance.
• Plan, coordinate and implement network upgrades and new implementations.
• Monitor network usage, assess optimisation opportunities and implement improvements.
• Implement and maintain network security measures in line with policies and regulations.
• Oversee technical support and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for network projects and issue resolution.
• Document network configurations, changes, upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Support IT projects related to network infrastructure aligned with site priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a network team and leading network projects.
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure management, security protocols and performance optimisation.
