Rigger – Telecom Tower Installation & Maintenance

About the role

The Rigger will support the Field Force Manager by performing acceptance tests, installing and maintaining equipment on telecom towers and structures. This role ensures that all installations meet engineering specifications and contributes to network availability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct acceptance tests for grounding, antenna alignment, and antenna installations.
• Install, de‑install, and re‑align outdoor units, antennas, and microwave dishes.
• Change feeder cables, replace filters, and troubleshoot RF, TX, ICT, and other network issues.
• Repair tower lighting, perform antenna optimization (tilting and re‑orientation), and assist with site refuelling.
• Collaborate with Network Operations and Network Development teams to maintain structure installations.

Required profile

• Certification and training in tower climbing and rigging.
• Minimum 3 years of experience climbing towers, preferably in cellular communications.
• Ability to work at heights up to 130 m and in challenging, changing environments.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
