Project Coordinator - Offshore Personnel Logistics

About the role

A Project Coordinator is sought in Paramaribo, Suriname, to coordinate offshore and onshore personnel logistics, crew changes, training compliance, recruitment and employee relations so that personnel can be deployed safely and efficiently across offshore operations.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with vessel captains, rig managers and clients about crew change times and locations, and oversee and coordinate all crew changes for offshore employees.
• Coordinate transport and accommodation arrangements for offshore employees to and from the vessel or rig.
• Meet employees bi-monthly, record and manage concerns or grievances, and visit client sites to address grievances and distribute PPE when required.
• Maintain a training compliance matrix and e-files, send training certificates to clients when needed, and keep personnel files up to date with contracts and onboarding documents.
• Keep the talent pool for offshore employees in Trinidad, Suriname and Guyana updated.
• Check the EDO recruitment e-mail daily, screen and categorize applications for drilling and catering crews, schedule and run interviews, and inform employees of crew change times and transport arrangements.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree or similar qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in a senior role within human resources management.
• Demonstrated success as an HR generalist supporting employee groups in multiple locations within the region or globally.
• Nice to have: experience writing online content, additional languages, strong analytical skills.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
