Business Sales Agent

About the role

Digicel is looking for a Business Sales Agent in Paramaribo, reporting to the Business Sales Supervisor. The agent builds business opportunities by identifying and selling Business internet packages to small businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Identify business opportunities by finding prospects, evaluating their industry position and researching and analysing sales options.
• Sell products by contacting prospects, developing relationships and recommending solutions.
• Maintain professional and technical product knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, benchmarking and professional societies.
• Contribute to team effort by delivering related results as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma (VWO or HAVO).
• Previous sales experience with demonstrated success.
• Previous experience in a customer service environment.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Required skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer orientation and ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Computer literacy in a Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
