Service Advisor - Night Shift

About the role

Fernandes Autohandel N.V. is looking for a customer-focused and technically knowledgeable Service Advisor for its night shift (afternoon and evening hours). As Service Advisor, you are the link between customers and the workshop, advising customers and coordinating service and repair activities efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Receive customers and identify vehicle concerns through questions, visual inspection or test drives
• Advise customers on required maintenance and repairs
• Prepare clear quotations, including estimated repair time, parts and labour costs
• Prepare and coordinate work orders for the workshop
• Keep customers informed about progress, completed work and costs
• Plan and coordinate service and repair appointments
• Handle customer complaints professionally
• Maintain accurate service, repair and warranty information in the system
• Coordinate handover of outstanding work between shifts

Required profile

• MBO+ / HBO level of education or equivalent
• Good knowledge of automotive technology and vehicle components
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in customer service or a similar customer-facing environment
• Availability to work the assigned shift from 14:00 to 22:00 hrs

Required skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook; experience with automotive management systems is an advantage
