Reliability Coordinator – Mobile Equipment Maintenance

About the role

The Reliability Coordinator leads the reliability, condition monitoring, inspection and backlog strategies for mobile equipment maintenance at Rosebel Gold Mine. The role aims to reduce equipment failures, minimise downtime and ensure safe, healthy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee, coach and train the Reliability Team to deliver strategies safely, timely and with high quality.
• Lead root‑cause failure analysis and mentor the Mine Maintenance Team in these methodologies.
• Communicate with equipment manufacturers and technical experts to address product issues and repetitive failures.
• Provide detailed technical analysis to support design and maintenance decisions.
• Audit inspection activities to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency of Mine Maintenance KPIs.
• Contribute to risk‑management planning for reliability‑related risks.
• Review, update and enhance predictive maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years experience in mining mobile‑equipment maintenance.
• At least 2 years experience leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of reliability, condition monitoring, inspection and backlog management for mobile equipment.
• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills; Dutch language skills are a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Brokopondo on a 5‑day/2‑day rotational schedule.
• Ability to provide a Police Clearance Certificate.
