Fluids Superintendent – Offshore Deepwater Project

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Fluids Superintendent to lead drilling fluids and cementing operations for an offshore deep‑water development project in Suriname. The role reports to the Drilling Superintendent and works closely with offshore fluids supervisors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all drilling fluids and cementing activities on the offshore platform.
• Develop and review fluids and cement programs to meet project specifications.
• Manage fluids, cementing and waste‑management contractors, ensuring compliance and performance.
• Ensure technical quality and operational efficiency throughout the drilling campaign.
• Provide technical support to Drilling Superintendents and Offshore Fluids Supervisors.
• Lead planning, logistics, reporting and lessons‑learned activities.

Required profile

• Technical or Engineering degree.
• 10+ years of experience in drilling fluids and cementing, with deep‑water exposure.
• Mandatory experience with Water Base Mud (WBM).
• Strong contractor management background.
• Familiarity with major operator standards and processes.
• Fluent English.
