Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

The Group Chief Financial Officer will steer the financial strategy, performance and capital management of a diversified Insurance & Investments Group. Reporting to the Group CEO, the CFO will act as a strategic advisor to the Board and senior committees, ensuring disciplined capital allocation and long‑term shareholder value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group’s overall financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO, President, Board and Executive Committee.
• Establish Group‑wide financial policies, controls, standards and performance frameworks.
• Oversee the Group’s P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and capital position across all subsidiaries and business units.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning and financial scenario analysis.
• Monitor financial performance, drive earnings growth, expense efficiency and return on capital.
• Supervise insurance finance functions, including premiums, claims, reserves and underwriting profitability.
• Provide Group‑level finance oversight for investment and asset‑management activities.

Required profile

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience in insurance, investment management, asset management or related regulated financial institutions.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing enterprise‑wide financial strategies.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, corporate finance and financial governance.
• Ability to advise C‑suite executives and board members on complex financial matters.
• Demonstrated experience managing large, multi‑entity financial operations.
