Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

We are looking for an accomplished and commercially strategic Chief Financial Officer to steer the financial strategy, performance, and governance of a diversified insurance and investment organization. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, advising the CEO/President and Board on all financial matters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall financial strategy, aligning it with corporate objectives.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑term planning and establish financial KPIs and executive dashboards.
• Oversee insurance finance, including premiums, claims, reserves, loss ratios and underwriting profitability.
• Provide financial oversight of the investment portfolio, partnering with the CIO and Investment Committee on strategy, performance and risk‑adjusted returns.
• Manage treasury, capital allocation, solvency, regulatory reporting and corporate development initiatives.
• Ensure strong financial governance, accountability and compliance across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience in a regulated financial‑services environment.
• Deep expertise in financial planning, insurance accounting, investment finance and capital management.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate corporate strategy into measurable financial outcomes.
• Excellent advisory skills, capable of influencing CEOs, Boards and senior stakeholders.
