SURF Night Shift Company Representative

About the role

Airswift is seeking a Night Shift Company Representative for a major offshore SURF installation project in Suriname. The role is based aboard construction and installation vessels during the execution phase of a deep‑water development, working 35 days on and 35 days off.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Company Representative on installation vessels during night shifts, supervising SURF activities such as rigid and flexible pipelay, riser installation, subsea structures, lifting, pre‑commissioning and testing.
• Ensure compliance with approved procedures, HSE requirements, SIMOPS/COMOPS protocols and Management of Change processes.
• Coordinate with offshore contractors, vessel management teams and on‑shore project stakeholders, review operational reports and monitor progress against schedule.
• Participate in risk assessments, emergency response activities and promote a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of oil & gas experience with significant exposure to SURF projects.
• Previous offshore supervisory or Company Representative experience on major EPCI projects.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) with strong communication, organisational and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Rigid and flexible pipelay operations.
• Riser installation (including Lazy Wave and Steel Hybrid Risers).
• Subsea structures installation.
• SIMOPS coordination and offshore HSE compliance.
• Experience on Rigid Lay Vessels, PLSVs or OSR vessels.
