Supply Chain Analyst

About the role

The Supply Chain Analyst will manage the end‑to‑end procurement and supply process for equipment, spare parts, and materials sourced from intercompany manufacturing plants and external suppliers. This role ensures material availability for Carrier Transicold warehouses in Mexico and Panama by coordinating purchase orders, logistics, and import documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage purchase orders within the ERP system, issuing them to intercompany plants and external suppliers.
• Track order confirmations, delivery dates, and supplier lead times; handle changes, cancellations, and expedite requests.
• Monitor open purchase orders from creation through final receipt and maintain visibility of backlogs.
• Coordinate supplier pickups with freight forwarders and track international shipments, monitoring ETD, ETA, and critical milestones.
• Manage import documentation, work with customs brokers, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify supply risks, develop mitigation plans, and maintain communication with Operations, Customer Service, and Sales teams.
