About the role
The Rigger will join the technical field team to ensure that all tower and structure installations meet engineering specifications and network availability standards. This hands‑on position involves testing, installing, and troubleshooting equipment on telecom sites.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct acceptance tests for grounding, antenna alignment and installation.
- Install, de‑install and re‑align outdoor units, antennas and microwave dishes.
- Change feeder cables, replace filters and resolve tower light issues.
- Perform antenna optimisation, including tilting and re‑orientation.
- Assist RF, TX, ICT and other technical disciplines with site troubleshooting and outage resolution.
- Support refuelling operations and accompany teams during site incidents to maintain network availability.
Required profile
- Certification and training in tower climbing and rigging.
- Minimum 3 years of experience climbing towers, preferably in cellular communications.
- Ability to work safely at heights up to 130 m.
- Strong teamwork attitude and adaptability to a fast‑changing environment.
