Night Drilling & Completion Supervisor

About the role

The Night Drilling & Completion Supervisor ensures continuity of drilling supervision during night shifts on an offshore rig in Suriname. The role supports safe and efficient execution of drilling and completion activities, bridging day‑to‑night operations and coordinating with service companies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise implementation of drilling programs and associated work instructions.
• Maintain operational continuity between night and day shifts and oversee service companies handling fluids, cementing and waste management.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, safety and environmental requirements.
• Optimize rig equipment and processes in coordination with contractors.
• Prepare and issue the Daily Drilling Report and track costs and operational performance.
• Anticipate operational issues, coordinate alternative strategies and capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore drilling environments, including deepwater operations.
• Proven ability to supervise contractors and service companies on offshore rigs.
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements and contingency planning.
