Night Company Site Representative

About the role

The Night Company Site Representative will act as the client’s on‑site focal point aboard Saipem installation vessels for the GranMorgu project in Suriname Block 58. The role ensures HSE standards are applied, procedures are followed and daily operations are coordinated during 35‑day offshore rotations.

Key responsibilities

• Apply client HSE standards and safety culture on installation vessels (J‑Lay, S‑Lay, PLSV, MSV).
• Supervise offshore operations, manage changes, and act as the client’s emergency focal point.
• Provide daily reports to the SURF Installation Manager and ensure compliance with statutory and company H3SEQ requirements.
• Coordinate offshore activities such as riser pull‑in/pull‑out, flexible and rigid pipe‑lay, subsea umbilical installation, ROV works and pre‑commissioning tests.
• Review and sign off daily progress reports, traceability tables and equipment inventories.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of SIMOPS and HSE rules, with experience on major EPCI projects.
• Construction background, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team under high responsibility.
• Willingness to adhere to strict safety, environmental and ethical standards.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).

Required skills

• Offshore operations: riser pull‑in/pull‑out, flexible lay, rigid pipelay, PLSV, OSR.
• HSE certifications: BOSIET, T‑BOSIET, FOET, CTA, HIRA level 2.
• Offshore fit‑to‑work certificates (OGUK Seaman’s book, OPITO).
• Experience with Management of Change processes and daily progress reporting.
