Material Handler – Stockpoint (Baroid)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Material Handler to support daily stockpoint operations at our Baroid facility in Paramaribo. The role involves mixing liquid mud, loading bulk products and handling palletised materials to ensure safe, efficient and customer‑focused service.

Key responsibilities

• Mix liquid mud and prepare bulk products according to operational procedures.
• Load and unload pallets, bulk shipments and other materials using forklifts and related equipment.
• Verify material orders for correct quantities and report discrepancies.
• Maintain stockpoint cleanliness, safety standards and documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors to achieve stockpoint efficiency targets.

Required profile

• Technical diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related field.
• Residence in Paramaribo, Suriname.
• Advanced level of English.
• Positive attitude, high energy and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Use of loading and unloading equipment.
