Kitchen Storage Supervisor

About the role

Rosebel Gold Mines is looking for a dedicated Kitchen Storage Supervisor to manage inventory and supplies for its camp kitchen. The role ensures that all kitchen items are stocked, stored, and distributed efficiently to support smooth food service operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, storage, distribution and accurate tracking of kitchen supplies, ingredients and equipment.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels, enforce FIFO principles and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Supervise storekeepers and kitchen assistants, assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers, monitor product quality and pricing, and manage costs within the approved budget.
• Prepare inventory reports, document waste and quality issues, and identify process improvements.

Required profile

• HAVO, VWO, IMEAO diploma or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory or supply management.
• Strong numerical, analytical and leadership abilities.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule (14 days on, 7 days off) in Brokopondo.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with inventory or accounting software; QuickBooks is a plus.
