HR Lead Trainer

About the role

The HR Lead Trainer will design, develop and oversee all training initiatives across the organization, ensuring that short‑ and long‑term learning objectives are met with measurable results. You will create an immersive learning environment, manage cross‑functional projects and drive continuous improvement in training and coaching efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current and future training needs through job analysis, performance appraisals, skills‑gap assessments and consultations with HR, managers and frontline leaders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive training plans, including annual organization‑wide and departmental programs that address competency gaps and business priorities.
• Design, develop and coordinate training programs for all employee levels using in‑house, outsourced, e‑learning, on‑the‑job, mentoring, simulation and classroom‑based methods.
• Deliver training activities such as induction, orientation, workshops, train‑the‑trainer sessions and technical training for beginner to advanced levels.
• Manage training communications, promote learning opportunities and liaise with subject‑matter experts and external providers.
• Oversee the annual training budget, ensuring cost‑effective delivery aligned with organizational goals.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on training effectiveness, ROI and compliance, maintaining audit‑ready records.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering training programs across multiple functional areas.
• Strong analytical skills to identify training needs and measure outcomes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
• Familiarity with mining or industrial environments is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for e‑learning delivery.
