HR Coordinator – Expatriate & Senior Staff Support

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, customer‑focused HR Coordinator to serve as the key liaison between Rosebel Gold Mines and Group Human Resources. The role supports expatriate employees and senior staff through recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and ongoing HR services.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Group HR management systems, salary, welfare, performance appraisal, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate HR communication between the mine and Group, synchronising staffing needs, talent development, and strategic HR deployment.
• Manage expatriate posting processes, including onboarding, local compliance filings, cultural integration, and off‑boarding.
• Support senior national talent retention, incentive design, and turnover reduction.
• Assist with labor‑rights compliance audits for Chinese contractors and ensure ESG‑aligned workforce practices.
• Oversee local payroll taxation, PAYE filing, social security contributions, and cross‑border tax matters for expatriates and senior nationals.
• Organise team‑building activities and maintain a positive corporate culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Experience with expatriate HR processes and senior talent support.
• Knowledge of Suriname labor laws, payroll taxation, and ESG standards.

Required skills

• Familiarity with HR management and payroll systems.
• Understanding of compliance auditing and tax filing procedures.
