Procurement Specialist – Offshore Drilling & Marine Operations

About the role

The Procurement Specialist will lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities for offshore drilling and marine operations, ensuring contracts and purchase orders are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulations. This contract position follows a rotational schedule (6 weeks on, 3 weeks off) and supports both technical teams and emergency supply‑chain situations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement and contracting strategies for drilling campaigns and logistics.
• Prepare, issue, and evaluate tenders, negotiate with suppliers, and finalize contracts.
• Ensure compliance with tax, customs, HSE, and integrity policies.
• Maintain global and local frame contracts, and drive cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and manage supplier relationships, including KPI setting and performance monitoring.
• Update procurement documentation in ERP and collaborative platforms.
• Conduct market intelligence and benchmark analyses for relevant categories.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a procurement‑related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Advanced expertise in contract writing, negotiation, and supplier qualification.
• Strong understanding of offshore drilling, marine logistics, and HSE requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to operational emergencies.
