  • Oversee daily shorebase activities such as vessel loadouts, backloads, deliveries and collections, and liaise with marine coordinators, vessel crews, warehouse staff, crane and forklift operators and transport providers.
  • Develop daily material-movement and vessel-loadout plans, confirm that containers, baskets, tanks and lifting equipment are certified, and support safe loading and unloading.
  • Take part in operational planning meetings, toolbox talks and shift handovers, and support urgent or emergency offshore logistics when needed.

Required profile

  • Associate degree, diploma or technical qualification in logistics, supply chain, materials management, customs administration, business or operations management; a bachelor's degree is an asset.
  • At least three years' experience in materials, warehousing, customs, freight forwarding, logistics or shorebase operations; oil and gas, marine, energy or industrial experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience coordinating offshore material movements, vessel loadouts, backloads, customs clearance and international freight is an asset.
  • Valid driver's licence may be required.

Required skills

  • Working knowledge of inventory and materials-management systems such as SAP, Kabal, Oracle or Maximo.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Knowledge of customs documentation, import/export procedures, inventory control and warehousing practices.
  • Familiarity with dangerous goods, lifting operations and offshore cargo requirements is an asset.

  • Training of 12 days per year, including 6 of your choice.
