Business Account Manager - ICT Solutions

About the role

Digicel is looking for a Business Account Manager in Paramaribo, reporting to the Head of Business Solutions. The role identifies and acquires business clients, understands their technology needs and offers tailored ICT solutions including software, hardware, cloud and networking services. It focuses on driving revenue growth, building strategic relationships and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target potential B2B clients across finance, healthcare, logistics and manufacturing.
• Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations and solution pitches to CIOs, IT managers and procurement heads.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline using CRM tools.
• Prepare and deliver customised ICT proposals and quotations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts.
• Work with technical and pre-sales teams to match customer needs with product offerings.
• Keep up with competitors and market trends, and meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Record sales activities and customer interactions accurately, and take part in industry events and trade shows.

Required profile

• 2 to 7+ years in B2B sales, preferably in ICT and enterprise solutions.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience with medium to large enterprises and familiarity with long sales cycles and solution-based selling.

Required skills

• Prospecting, lead generation and account management.
• Negotiation and closing skills.
• Sales pipeline management with tools such as Salesforce or PowerBI.
• Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building (consultative selling).
• Time management and ability to handle multiple accounts.
