Laravel & React Developer (Remote – Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking an experienced Laravel and React developer to join its fully remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. The role offers the chance to work on diverse, high‑impact projects in a fast‑moving consultancy environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) back‑end services and APIs.
• Build responsive front‑end interfaces using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and integrate them with Laravel via Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests with Pest, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk or Playwright.
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, estimate work, and take ownership of delivery timelines.
• Continuously improve code quality, performance, and security.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel 8 or newer.
• Strong understanding of Eloquent ORM, authentication, and query builder.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and using Inertia.js.
• Proficiency in front‑end development with React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and familiarity with Tailwind CSS is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, own tasks end‑to‑end, and align with client goals.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
