ICT ServiceDesk Technician

About the role

Rosebel Gold Mines is looking for an ICT ServiceDesk Technician to deliver first‑line technical support to end users. You will diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and printer issues while providing guidance and training to staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for hardware, software, network, email, Internet and printer problems via phone, email, service‑desk portal or in person.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot end‑user computers, operating systems, peripherals, printers and other ICT equipment, including minor hardware repairs.
• Offer technical guidance and training to users, ensuring clear communication of solutions.
• Escalate complex incidents to Level 2 support, coordinate third‑party repairs and assist with network cabling.
• Maintain accurate ICT inventory records, documentation and gather user feedback for service improvement.

Required profile

• Higher Secondary Education, NATIN IT Diploma, or HAVO/VWO/IMEAO Diploma with an IT‑related course.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT Service Desk, Help Desk or technical support role.
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule (14 days on site in Brokopondo, 7 days off).
• Ability to provide a Police Clearance Certificate if selected.
