Ubuntu/Linux User for AI Data Training (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking individuals who regularly use Ubuntu/Linux to support AI data training projects. The position is fully remote, paid hourly, and involves completing structured, detail‑oriented tasks independently.

Key responsibilities

• Follow detailed written guidelines and apply them carefully.
• Install and use required applications on an Ubuntu/Linux computer.
• Record actions, check work for mistakes, and submit accurate results.
• Identify inconsistencies, unclear instructions, or technical issues and report them.
• Maintain focus during repetitive or detail‑heavy tasks and meet weekly availability commitments.
• Communicate clearly with the project team when support is needed.

Required profile

• Own a personal computer running Ubuntu/Linux.
• Comfortable installing required apps, tools, and project software independently.
• Available for approximately 15 hours per week.
• Patient, concentrated, detail‑oriented, and able to follow written instructions consistently.
• Reliable, responsive, and able to meet task deadlines.
• Students, junior candidates, and Linux enthusiasts are encouraged to apply.
