Sr. Manufacturing Operations Manager (Interim)

About the role

Fernandes Bottling Company (FBC), Suriname's Coca-Cola bottler, is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager. You will start as an interim manager for 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of moving into a longer-term role. The position is full-time and based in Suriname.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize Line 1, safely commission Line 2 and increase production output
• Improve OEE and yield, reduce downtime, losses and conversion costs using Lean methodologies
• Keep the facility safe, audit-ready and compliant with food safety, product integrity and Coca-Cola standards (KORE)
• Ensure preventive maintenance, root cause analysis and inventory control, and own modernization initiatives
• Strengthen leadership and collaboration and foster a culture of ownership and accountability

Required profile

• Senior management experience as a Plant, Production or Manufacturing Manager in high-speed bottling, food processing or FMCG operations
• Proven success commissioning, stabilizing or scaling up production lines
• Experience managing 24/7 shift operations, OEE improvement, Lean and loss elimination
• Strong expertise in preventive maintenance, asset reliability and technical troubleshooting
• Experience with KORE or comparable quality systems and audits; Coca-Cola experience is a strong advantage
• Available at short notice for a full-time assignment in Suriname
