About the role
Airswift is seeking a Safety & Environment Manager to lead HSE standards on a major offshore SURF development in Suriname. The role acts as the primary HSE interface between offshore operations and the project team.
Key responsibilities
- Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across all offshore activities.
- Monitor installation operations such as pipelay, flexible installation, subsea works, lifting, pre‑commissioning and testing.
- Ensure approved procedures are followed and manage changes via the Management of Change process.
- Coordinate SIMOPS/COMOPS activities and support emergency response preparedness onboard.
- Review operational reports, identify non‑conformances and drive continuous improvement.
- Provide regular HSE reporting to the project management team.
Required profile
- Minimum 15 years of Oil & Gas experience with strong exposure to SURF projects.
- Previous experience in major EPCI developments and offshore installation vessels.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Availability for a rotational offshore schedule (35 days on / 35 days off) starting February 2027.
Required skills
- BOSIET / T‑BOSIET / FOET certifications.
- Offshore medical certification (OGUK or equivalent) and Seaman's Book.
- CA‑EBS OPITO certification.
- Experience with rigid pipelay, flexible lay, riser and subsea structures installation.
- Knowledge of offshore HSE management, SIMOPS and Management of Change processes.
