Maintenance Specialist

About the role

The Maintenance Specialist will provide on‑site technical support to ensure Chrysos PhotonAssay™ equipment operates reliably across the Americas region. This permanent, full‑time position is based at the Paramaribo site and works closely with the global support team and technology partner in China.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled monthly maintenance and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Deliver technical support via telephone, email and remote computer login, including performance checks outside regular office hours.
• Train customers on safe operation and routine maintenance of PhotonAssay™ systems.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory for each installation and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
• Prepare fault records, support root‑cause analysis and contribute to safety and reliability initiatives.
• Support the development of new Maintenance Specialists and schedule site maintenance events.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience maintaining technical equipment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Field‑service experience in the mining or mineral‑processing sector (or related).
