Logistics Operations Agent

About the role

SOGLASS N.V. is a growing logistics service provider for the oil & gas sector in Suriname. The Logistics Operations Agent will coordinate shipments, support transportation planning and ensure smooth import‑export processes in a dynamic, growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate air, ocean and road shipments.
• Plan and schedule transportation activities.
• Prepare and manage logistics documentation, including AWBs and Bills of Lading.
• Track import and export shipments and monitor logistics costs.
• Communicate with clients, carriers and internal teams.
• Coordinate deliveries, warehousing and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare quotations and invoices.
• Support continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics.
• Knowledge of import & export procedures and customs documentation.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure, customer‑oriented and proactive.
• Team player with solid problem‑solving abilities.
