HSE Offshore Representative / Supervisor

About the role

The HSE Offshore Representative/ Supervisor will join the SW Project team to monitor and supervise HSSE activities carried out by contractors and subcontractors onboard the installation vessel. The role ensures compliance with contractual and technical HSE requirements during offshore operations.

Key responsibilities

• Follow‑up, monitor and supervise HSSE activities of contractors on‑board vessels (J‑Lay, S‑Lay, PLSV, MSV).
• Act as the focal point for the site representative and for emergencies, providing daily reports to the SURF Installation Manager.
• Apply HSE standards, manage changes, and ensure all approved procedures are implemented.
• Demonstrate exemplary H3SEQ behaviour and contribute to continuous H3SEQ performance improvement.

Required profile

• Engineer/Offshore Supervisor with at least 15 years of oil‑and‑gas experience, especially in SURF projects.
• Deep knowledge of Surinamese offshore regulations, SIMOPS and HSE rules.
• Proven experience in major EPCI projects and ability to solve technical, procurement and construction problems.
• Strong organizational skills, team orientation and willingness to uphold safety and environmental requirements.

Required skills

• BOSIET, T‑BOSIET, FOET certifications.
• Technological Risk Awareness and CTA (Cause Tree Analysis).
• Knowledge of offshore vessel operations (J‑Lay, S‑Lay, PLSV, MSV).
• Familiarity with H3SEQ standards and statutory HSE compliance.
