Health Safety Environment Supervisor

About the role

The Health Safety Environment Supervisor (RSES‑D) will represent the project on an offshore installation vessel, ensuring HSE standards are applied and safety culture is maintained throughout the installation campaign.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the project representative on the vessel, overseeing all offshore operations and ensuring compliance with approved procedures and Management of Change processes.
• Act as the focal point for emergencies, manage COMOPS/SIMOPS activities, and coordinate hazard identification risk analysis (HIRA) prior to operations.
• Provide daily reports to the SURF Installation Manager, review and sign daily progress reports, and monitor vessel activities against schedules.
• Supervise installation activities such as riser pull‑in/pull‑out, flexible and rigid pipe laying, subsea umbilical installation, ROV works, and offshore pre‑commissioning and testing.
• Maintain traceability tables, equipment inventory, and ensure all required certificates and checklists are prepared and signed.

Required profile

• Engineer or Offshore Supervisor with at least 15 years of experience in oil & gas, especially SURF projects.
• Deep knowledge of marine, environmental and NR regulations, SIMOPS, and HSE rules.
• Strong problem‑solving ability across HSE, technical, procurement, construction and schedule domains.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and ability to work effectively in a team.
