Financial Analyst Consultant – Delivery Unit

About the role

IDB Invest is seeking a Financial Analyst Consultant to join its Delivery Unit, reporting jointly to the Corporates Division and the Caribbean Division. The role supports the Originate to Share model by providing financial analysis for projects across Latin America and the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and modelling for agribusiness, manufacturing, tourism and digital‑economy projects.
• Collaborate with the Corporates Division (SMC) to originate and deliver high‑quality operations.
• Work closely with the Caribbean Division (RCB) to align client engagement and country‑level strategies.
• Support upstream pipeline development and operational program execution within the Delivery Unit.
• Prepare reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and external partners.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial analysis or related finance roles.
• Experience or interest in development‑oriented projects in Latin America or the Caribbean.
• Ability to work in a multi‑regional environment with dual reporting lines.
