Drilling & Wells Engineer

About the role

Join TotalEnergies' Drilling & Wells (D&W) Technical line to work on high‑impact drilling, completion, work‑over and well‑intervention projects in Suriname. You will receive intensive training and early responsibility for managing large‑budget operations in an international, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all statutory and company HSE standards and participate in risk identification and mitigation.
• Assist in implementing drilling, completion, work‑over and intervention programs in line with company referentials.
• Design well architecture, prepare well‑completion, subsea and intervention programmes, and support ongoing projects.
• Prepare technical documents, present to authorities and partners, and follow up project planning.
• Monitor daily operations (cost, performance) and propose efficiency improvements.
• Participate in tenders, write technical specifications and evaluate proposals.
• Manage on‑site service companies and coordinate activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in general, mechanical, chemical, industrial engineering or petroleum engineering.
• Strong motivation to work in challenging, mobile, multicultural settings.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal communication.
• Fluent in English; French is an asset.
