Drilling Completion Superintendent

About the role

The Drilling Completion Superintendent will support drilling assets within the Drilling and Wells department to ensure operational readiness and successful well delivery on time and within budget. The role works closely with the Lead Drilling Engineer and offshore teams to manage drilling and completion operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support drilling assets to ensure operational readiness and successful well delivery.
• Work closely with the Lead Drilling Engineer during well preparation and execution.
• Act as Drilling & Completion Superintendent with accountability for major technological risks, especially blowout prevention.
• Lead communication with offshore operational teams, logistics, and contractor representatives.
• Provide operational support for drilling and completion activities.
• Review drilling & wells programs and manage changes as required.
• Review and distribute daily operational reports.
• Liaise with logistics and service companies to ensure equipment and personnel readiness.
• Manage, motivate, evaluate, and develop offshore personnel.
• Promote and ensure compliance with HSE objectives and statutory standards.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical/engineering profile.
• More than 5 years of experience in a similar superintendent role.
• Strong knowledge of offshore and deepwater drilling environments.
• Familiarity with industry referential, processes, and methods.
