SPS In-country Operation Leader

About the role

The SPS In-country Operation Leader will coordinate readiness and execution of Subsea Production Systems (SPS) activities in Suriname, acting as the focal point for SPS operations across onshore and offshore sites.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate in‑country readiness of SPS equipment, including 34 Christmas trees, wellhead systems, tooling, flying leads, subsea distribution systems and manifolds.
• Manage SPS personnel, equipment and logistics for drillship and subsea installation vessel activities, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Monitor contractor performance against schedule, specifications and procedures, and lead arbitration of SPS priorities.
• Maintain interfaces with Drilling & Completion, SURF, Field Operations and other project stakeholders.
• Oversee budget consolidation, consumption reporting and life‑of‑field services for SPS.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant technical discipline with offshore construction and commissioning experience.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience, at least 10 years in major oil‑and‑gas projects.
• Strong SPS experience, preferably on Company projects, and ability to represent the Company at senior level.
• Proven leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills in multicultural, multidisciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Subsea Production Systems (SPS) equipment coordination and preservation.
• Offshore installation supervision and on‑shore/off‑shore lifting operations.
• Marine operations using Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV).
• Use of operational management tools: PTW, risk assessments, FDL, SIMOPS, Synergi.
• Knowledge of EPFS, Life‑of‑Field contracts and related reporting.
