Senior Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Reliability Engineer to lead the maintenance reliability function across mill, crusher and tailings operations. The role will shift the plant from reactive to preventive and predictive maintenance, boosting equipment reliability and overall performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the reliability team and provide technical leadership on mechanical reliability matters.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Analyse equipment failures, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and define corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor reliability, availability, downtime and maintenance KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance Planning, Projects, HSE, equipment manufacturers and service providers.
• Support asset life‑cycle management, spare‑parts strategy and asset‑integrity decisions.
• Participate in maintenance planning, budgeting, cost analysis and reliability improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in plant operations and maintenance, including mineral processing plants.
• Previous senior or team‑leadership experience is an advantage.
• Professional engineering certification/designation is a plus.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
