Senior Fluids Superintendent

About the role

Support drilling assets within the Drilling and Wells department, preparing and executing all fluids and cement operations on site, and providing technical support to the Drilling Supervisor on all fluids‑related subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise rig‑site fluids operations, cement jobs, mud displacements and formation integrity tests.
• Prepare and follow fluids and cement programs, identifying deviations and managing changes.
• Plan and coordinate logistics for chemicals, bulk materials, WBCO and equipment.
• Perform on‑site quality control of drilling fluids, cementing services and waste streams.
• Track waste generation, ensure proper treatment and compliance with ESIA and site standards.
• Report equipment failures, non‑conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with service companies to optimise costs and performance.
• Prepare daily activity reports and contribute to well close‑out documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in offshore drilling fluids and cementing, including deep‑water projects.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, processes and methods.
• Ability to work on a 4‑weeks on / 4‑weeks off rotation schedule.
