Senior Drilling Completion Supervisor

About the role

Airswift is looking for a Senior Drilling Completion Supervisor to join a major oil & gas client in Suriname on a 2‑year outsourced contract. The role is offshore, operating on a 4‑weeks on/4‑weeks off rotation, and involves leading drilling and completion activities while ensuring safety and well‑control standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support drilling assets within the Drilling and Wells department.
• Supervise offshore well operations and act as the senior supervisor in the drilling chain of command, focusing on major technological risks such as blow‑out.
• Represent the company offshore and lead communication with the on‑shore operational team.
• Review drilling and completion programs prepared on‑shore and issue rig standing instructions for on‑site implementation.
• Ensure well‑control procedures and bridging documents are enforced on the rig.
• Personally supervise delicate or high‑risk operations and coordinate daily reporting to DCSI.
• Coordinate logistics with DCSI, considering rig capability, vessel constraints and upcoming operation plans.
• Optimize rig equipment and processes in collaboration with contractors and the TEEP Suriname operational office.

Required profile

• Technical or engineering background with proven drilling operations experience.
• Experience as a Drilling Completion Supervisor (DCSSV) on offshore projects.
• Advanced conversational English.
• Good knowledge of offshore deep‑water environments.
