Offshore NDT Supervisor

About the role

The Offshore NDT Supervisor will oversee non‑destructive testing activities on offshore vessels for the GranMorgu project in Suriname, ensuring technical requirements are met and safety standards are upheld.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise NDT work performed by contractors and subcontractors onboard vessels.
• Review contractor documentation, procedures, ITPs and ensure compliance with approved plans and acceptance criteria.
• Produce daily production reports detailing all indications identified.
• Perform independent assessments of subcontractor interpretations and challenge discrepancies.
• Verify that material certificates and calibration equipment certifications are current.
• Conduct routine and random inspections, stopping work and reporting any non‑conformities immediately.
• Participate in daily meetings and support reporting to the Project Manager.

Required profile

• Engineer degree or equivalent.
• 10‑15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years supervising deep‑water offshore operations related to SURF activities.
• Recent participation in a deep‑water offshore project.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); French is a plus.
