Offshore NDT Supervision Services

About the role

The NDT Supervisor will work on offshore vessels in Suriname Block 58, supporting the GranMorgu project for TotalEnergies. Reporting to the Company Offshore Representative, the role ensures that all non‑destructive testing activities meet technical and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise NDT activities performed by contractors and subcontractors on board, ensuring compliance with procedures, inspection plans and acceptance criteria.
• Review contractor documentation (procedures, ITPs), verify material certificates, calibration files and perform daily production reporting of AUT indications.
• Conduct independent assessments, challenge discrepancies, and stop work immediately on any non‑conformity.
• Participate in daily meetings, support the offshore representative in reporting to the Project Manager, and promote H3SE compliance.

Required profile

• Engineer or equivalent qualification with 10‑15 years of experience, including at least 5 years supervising deep‑water offshore operations.
• Recent deep‑water project experience, strong communication skills and fluency in English (French a plus).

Required skills

• ISO 9712 UT Level 3 certification with extensive AUT and TOFD experience.
• Proficiency with PipeWizard software and SONUS (AUT interpreter) system.
• Mandatory trainings: BOSIET, T‑BOSIET, FOET, HUET, CTA, CBSP, OGUK fit‑to‑work, Seaman’s book, CA‑EBS, OPITO.
• Strong HSE culture and ability to work on offshore vessels.
