Offshore Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Airswift is seeking an Offshore Logistics Coordinator to support a major offshore oil & gas development project in Suriname. This long‑term rotational assignment serves as the primary offshore point of contact for marine, aviation, personnel and cargo logistics, working on a 4‑weeks on / 4‑weeks off schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel schedules, helicopter movements, cargo transfers and logistics priorities to support drilling and development operations.
• Maintain and update cargo manifests, logistics records and material tracking systems, ensuring accurate offshore inventory levels.
• Interface daily with Operations, Drilling, HSE, Logistics teams and contractors to align logistics execution.
• Oversee loading and discharge operations offshore, optimizing utilization of supply vessels, helicopters, CCUs and bulk logistics resources.
• Participate in operational and logistics coordination meetings, promoting safe, compliant and cost‑effective delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore logistics, marine logistics coordination or material management supporting drilling, completions, construction or production.
• Strong knowledge of offshore cargo logistics, vessel operations, manifests and material tracking processes.
• Valid Offshore Medical Certificate; BOSIET certification preferred.
• Fluent English and proven ability to work within multidisciplinary offshore teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with logistics management systems such as KABAL or equivalent.
• Experience in logistics planning, vessel scheduling and material tracking.
