IFR SIC/PIC Pilot – 28x28 – Suriname

About the role

The IFR SIC/PIC Pilot will operate Bristow helicopters in the Suriname offshore region, ensuring safe and efficient transport of passengers and cargo while adhering to all operational standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assigned aircraft safely and efficiently in compliance with Bristow standards and applicable regulations.
• Maintain situational awareness of weather, NOTAMs, sea state and offshore facility status.
• Manage passenger movements, briefings, baggage loading and aircraft movements.
• Complete flight planning paperwork, pre‑flight checks, fueling and manifest oversight.
• Record accurate electronic and paper logs, including journey logs and technical logbook entries.
• Report mechanical irregularities and ensure aircraft airworthiness before, during and after flights.
• Communicate professionally with customers and represent Bristow appropriately.

Required profile

• Hold a 1st class medical certificate.
• Possess an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate (Rotorcraft – Helicopter) with an Instrument rating or an FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Rotorcraft – Helicopter).
• Meet 14 CFR 135.243 and 135.245 requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
