HR Advisor Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

About the role

The HR Advisor – Talent Acquisition & Onboarding leads end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and internal mobility for Rosebel Gold Mines. Acting as a strategic partner, the role aligns workforce planning with operational objectives and ensures a high‑performing, diverse talent pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with business goals and workforce plans.
• Partner with hiring managers to assess current and future talent needs, internal promotions and succession plans.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management and pre‑employment processes.
• Oversee the Applicant Tracking System, maintain recruitment metrics and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Design, implement and continuously improve the 30‑60‑90 day onboarding program.
• Coordinate HR projects such as job fairs, campus recruitment, internship and graduate programs.
• Provide data‑driven insights through recruitment analytics, turnover analysis and exit interviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in senior recruitment and onboarding, preferably in an engineering or mining environment.
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Dutch and English; speaking knowledge of Sranan Tongo.
• Willingness to work on‑site at the Rosebel Mine on a 5‑day/2‑day rotational schedule.
