Finance Manager - Country Business Unit

About the role

SBM Offshore, a global leader in deepwater ocean infrastructure, is looking for a Finance Manager to run end-to-end finance activities at country level. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory and Group requirements, effective internal controls and high-quality financial operations. It is the primary finance counterpart to local management and also coordinates HR and BAS activities in country.

Key responsibilities

• Financial reporting and statutory compliance: accurate, timely reporting under local GAAP and IFRS, oversight of statutory accounts, compliance with local tax and filing obligations, and coordination of local and Group audits.
• Treasury and operational finance: cash flow forecasting, local banking and treasury controls, and reliable source-to-pay execution.
• Internal control and governance: implement and monitor the Internal Control Matrix, ensure segregation of duties and a strong compliance culture.
• Business partnering: provide financial analysis and insights to Country Management, support performance monitoring and cost control.
• Systems and processes: ensure effective use of Group ERP and finance systems, maintain data quality, and drive harmonisation of finance processes.
• People and coordination: lead and develop the local finance team, and coordinate HR and BAS activities with Group processes and service providers.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent (required).
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, Chartered Accountant or equivalent) preferred.
• 7-10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Solid exposure to statutory reporting, tax and audit environments.
• Proven experience leading small finance teams; consulting or multi-entity experience is an advantage.
