Drilling Completion Superintendent

About the role

Brunel is looking for a Drilling Completion Superintendent for a 2‑year contract with a major oil and gas client. The role is based in Paramaribo, Suriname, operating on a 28‑day on / 28‑day off rotation and may involve occasional offshore assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Support drilling assets within the Drilling and Wells department.
• Ensure operational readiness and deliver wells on budget and schedule.
• Work closely with the Lead Drilling Engineer during well preparation and execution.
• Account for major technological risks, particularly blow‑out prevention, as the Drilling & Completion Superintendent.
• Lead communication with offshore operational teams, logistics, and contractor representatives.

Required profile

• Technician or engineering background (Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent) with DCSI experience.
• Strong knowledge of offshore, especially deep‑water environments.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• DCSI certification.
• Fluent English communication.
