Business Analyst – Finance Team

About the role

Rosebel Gold Mines is looking for a Business Analyst to join its Finance team. You will work closely with site and corporate finance functions to analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that support decision‑making and cost control.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the month‑end closing cycle and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Lead quarterly variance analyses, balance‑sheet reviews and prepare major cost variance reports.
• Perform ad‑hoc analyses for site management and corporate office, and produce monthly reconciliations.
• Promote a culture of cost control and ensure compliance with reporting standards such as IFRS.
• Maintain organized documentation for financial reports and respond to ad‑hoc requests from management and technical staff.
• Facilitate communication between Finance and mine‑site departments, visiting the site regularly to support internal controls and financial oversight.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a mining environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch; Mandarin is a plus.
