Senior Flask + React Fullstack Developer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer to design and deliver high‑quality financial reporting and data‑visualisation applications. The role is fully remote, serving clients across the United States and Latin America, and offers the chance to work on challenging projects within a fast‑growing consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, test and ship end‑to‑end full‑stack solutions using Flask and React.
• Continuously refactor existing codebases to improve maintainability, performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product managers and data‑engineering teams to extract, parse and serve large‑scale private‑asset analytics.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical discussions that shape client outcomes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience building service‑oriented back‑ends with Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy, Celery).
• Strong front‑end expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and React for SPA development.
• Extensive work with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, and complex data‑access patterns.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote, consultancy environment.
